Hey there...

I’m a wife, a mother, a Millennial, and an introvert by nature. Forever, I’m a daughter of Christ and identify most as such. I graduated from Princeton University and my husband, 5 children, and I currently reside in the burbs of Memphis, TN.

I enjoy unplanned Saturday mornings with my husband, hour-long conversations with my sisters, a clean house, walks accompanied by good conversation, people watching, and worshipping (when I’m able to not care about the thought of man and solely focus on the Lord.)

@memphis_family_stories somehow captured the essence of our family dynamic within a few short hours on a late Sunday afternoon.   It had been a long day and we had been home no longer than an hour when Natassia pulled out her cam and began clicking away. These pics fill me with such gratitiude! Why? Because I see the crumbs. The food-stained baseboards. The laundry basket. The indentations of a well-worn couch. The covered walls of art work from kids. The awkard  and never-ending movements from growing children.  And oh, how I smile. I see lives that are full. Not perfect.  But….who ever wanted perfect? I want and will forever desire full. Thank you Lord for a grounded marriage rooted in You. Thank You for unity, peace, health, growing children. Thank you for the crumbs, the endless noise, the constant  “Mama, watch this” requests, the cuddles. I know silence is coming. Empty beds. Well-swept floors. Smudge-free mirrros.
